The Investment / Mortgage calculator enables Assetz Finance clients to get a feel for their investment, calculating how much cash is required and what return they can expect. The calculator gives approximate monthly mortgage repayments given that an overseas mortgage solution is used to finance the investment and that the deposit on the purchase is funded via cash savings rather than a UK loan/re-mortgage.
You will need to know the expected purchase/legal costs, expected net rental income and expected capital growth for the area you are purchasing in, one of our International Property Consultants will be able to assist you compile this information (contact them on 0845 400 6000).
You will also need to know the percentage of deposit that you will be required to pay which will be determined by the mortgage amount that would be available to you in your country of purchase. In addition, you will need to know the mortgage term and interest rate that you are likely to be offered by a lender in your country of purchase. All of these factors vary depending on your personal and financial situation and therefore you should ask your personal Finance Consultant to give you these elements (call them on 0845 400 8000).
In some countries the deposit, mortgage and return will be affected if the property is a pure buy-to-let investment (and a Leaseback scheme in France). Therefore, if you are purchasing a property as a pure investment (with no personal use of the property at all) you should contact an Assetz Finance consultant to check that the below calculator is applicable in your case.
